.XXX: There is a new domain name in town!
.XXX domain names have gone live today and are now available to the general public for registration. They have entered a period in domain launches called the General Availability, meaning if you are interested in acquiring .XXX domains, all you need to do is simply find your domain registrar website, search if a name is available and grab it.
Domains registrations will be accepted on a first come first served basis so the early bird catches the worm..XXX domain registrars are currently accepting registrations for non resolving .xxx domain names so this is an opportunity for you to protect your intellectual property for personal domain names, company domain names, product domain names. Prices range from $79 to $130 so do your shopping carefully as not all registrars were created equal.

I will not be acquiring .XXX domains due to the exorbitant cost and the fact that I have little interest in the .XXX industry but am very interested in watching and studying the uptake of .XXX domains.
