ICANN Dakar was a blast and now ICANN Costa Rica website and registration are already open. Costa Rica, as you might remember from the presentation in Dakar is the country with "no artificial ingredients" . The country also has no standing army which was abolished some years back. As you might know, the army in Latin America was democracy's sworn enemy number 1.
Not yet sure if I will attend this meeting although am submitting an application to ICANN fellowship program. Most chances are likely to go to applicants from Latin America closer to the venue of the ICANN meeting but there are also chances for applicants from Africa to apply for the fellowship.
